Humanizing the approach
Bestow’s mission is simple: eliminate the friction millions of people encounter when purchasing life insurance. By focusing on a mobile-first approach to the application process, applying for coverage can be done in a fraction of the time. Long phone calls, doctors visits, and weeks of waiting are now a thing of the past.
Two years in two minutes
Applying for Bestow’s two year coverage plan was designed as a streamlined, two minute enrollment process. I worked closely with my director to think through mobile-first experiences for personal information inputs, medical history, and beneficiary planning.
Thinking through an approach for multiple user inputs while keeping the number of enrollments screens to a minimum was the largest challenge in this process.
A new Customer Portal
I was also tasked with designing a clean interface, interaction flows, and UI for both the Bestow Customer and Admin portals. A few interactions I designed for were adding and editing beneficiaries, updating payment information, and searching for multiple policies.
